images of some industries not showing, only contours

I play with jgrpp 0.74.4. with Firs 2.1.5 economy extreme.
Hadn't played for a while but wanted to start a new game and noticed that the images of some (most) industries don't show. The countours are visible though (see the attached picture). A few industries look normal.
Any idea what goes wrong?

Have you checked your transparency settings? the option is under the cog top left, you might have accidentally turned it on with a hotkey.
