Stuck helicopter on top of Heliport.

Does anyone know how to move a small helicopter off a heliport, when it wont move.
I accidentally gave the helicopter a too far away destination.
Now it wont move off the heliport no matter what I try.
Any ideas would help.

That's an interesting conundrum, are you able to post the savegame, as that may help others debug why this happened to start with.

I assue you've tried to give it a much closer destination, and then stopped/start the vehicle already to see if that clears its problem? that'd be my go-to anyway.

Try the 'send to depot' option - hopefully there's one close enough.
If there isn't one close enough, hopefully you have enough cash available to build the smallest & cheapest airport which has a depot tile on it.

Thanks all. Ill go back in time using the Autosave to before the Helicopter got stuck. This will solve the problem for me.
The game itself seems stuck also and only puts up the message "Too far to next destination" for the Helicopter.
The game ignores all commands to the Helicopter in the meantime.
