Re: JGR's Patch Pack
Okay, thanks for looking into it.
My scenarios for JGRpp: Motor City (1910), Fortune Bay (1993)
Re: JGR's Patch Pack
When I tried to filter the road list, the game crashed and threw an error. I just turned on the map, new game.

Re: JGR's Patch Pack
Just to confirm that the cargo stockpiles graph glitch is fixed.
Many Thanks.
Many Thanks.
Re: JGR's Patch Pack
Actually, the stockpile graph issue isn't fixed...
Something strange happened in june 1944 but then it seemed to work correctly. Absolutely no idea what might have happened.
Pic9 shows one cargo displaying correctly and the other cargo at zero.
This is a fresh game using 72.0 and no newgrf changes during the game.
I find some industries work (occasionally) but there's no pattern or consistency...sorry.

Re: JGR's Patch Pack
It looks like the statistics are not being collected when delivering cargo to industries in the equal distribution instead of original/nearest mode.3iff wrote: 12 May 2026 13:14 Actually, the stockpile graph issue isn't fixed...

Re: JGR's Patch Pack
Ah... I think I did change that setting when playing with AI opponents and finding their station got more cargo than mine.
Then it seemed a sensible change so I kept it. I keep finding 'new' settings and having to consider which options are best.
That would explain why the problem seemed fixed then not fixed.
Glad to know I'm not going mad!!

Re: JGR's Patch Pack
Hey there.
Any chance of a 'Copy / Paste' function for the purpose of copying / pasting large junctions to ease repetitive building??
Cheers.

Re: JGR's Patch Pack
I have just discovered your Patch Pack in the last couple of months, and I'm having the time of my life! Thank you for what must have been thousands of hours on this project.
Have not had time to review all 253 pages of this forum, so forgive me if these minor issues have been addressed. Using a Mac...
1. Graphics problem on tunnel ends. The tunnel ends kind of flicker and go in and out.
2. Unable modify land elevation near water; ie. so cannot smooth out coastline to make room for a new port. Error is "Unable to build on water."
3. I have seen references to "drive through depots" but can't figure out how to make that happen!
Thanks again for the great work.

Re: JGR's Patch Pack
If I may take the easy one (number 3 )
You will need to pick two depots facing in opposite directions

Re: JGR's Patch Pack
I'm sure you could make this more than 2 depots though. I've tried multiples of 2. I know 4 and 6 work as long as they alternate back and forth. As I do 6 length trains.mak wrote: 21 May 2026 09:40 If I may take the easy one (number 3 )

1. Which GRF are you using for tunnel graphics?uncle_ed wrote: 19 May 2026 21:48 I have just discovered your Patch Pack in the last couple of months, and I'm having the time of my life! Thank you for what must have been thousands of hours on this project.

2. You've probably turned on the difficulty setting to disable removing water.
3. As mentioned above, though there is no need for the number of depot tiles to be even, or for alternating directions.

Re: JGR's Patch Pack
A train will still use the front door, if it is the easier way to get to the next destination. You may have to use a waypoint to make the train leave through the back door.
Make sure game setting : Drive-Through Train Depots is ON.

So............
No??
Re: JGR's Patch Pack
People have worked on different copy-paste patches like here and here but none of them seem to have made it into the main code base or popular patch packs.
Thus, unlike you are an experienced software developer and able to include these code fragments into recent versions of the game, I'd say it is indeed very unlikely to happen.
Re: JGR's Patch Pack
Hi, I'm a long-time OpenTTD player and I'd like to say that what you're doing in your JGRPP is great. Since you're doing really big things, I'd like to suggest a patch with a modification to the station range. Specifically, I've been playing for a long time and a lot. Sometimes I don't need such a large farm range, and sometimes I need a larger range in the city, or one that doesn't overlap. It would be good to manually modify this when placing new stations.

No probs.ebla71 wrote: 22 May 2026 12:08People have worked on different copy-paste patches like here and here but none of them seem to have made it into the main code base or popular patch packs.

Thanks. I'll let it go then.

Re: JGR's Patch Pack
I have a problem with releases after 68.2. I use the Toal Bridge Replacement Set 1.12 . Bridges are not shown as graphics but with ( ? ) Icons. Last version which is ok was 0.68.2 Same with some Road waypoints but that does not matter so much.

Re: JGR's Patch Pack
Hello,
I just had a crash with 0.72.3
Game created with 0.72.2
Loaded the game, then created a new train line between Marseille Coal Mine station and St. Brieuc Recycling Center station and a truck waste line between Marseille and Mareille Coal Mine.
Opened the company colour scheme, changed colours for Waste group, added the new trucs to this group and... crashed a few second later when I tried to close the "rename group" popup.

Various bridge sets are coded incorrectly and will not display correctly in vanilla OpenTTD or this branch. You may want to look into a newer version or a different bridge set,Chaserchris wrote: 28 May 2026 08:42 I have a problem with releases after 68.2. I use the Toal Bridge Replacement Set 1.12 .
