Hi everyone!
I've just recently gotten into OpenTTD via the Android version by pelya (because I don't have a PC available to play on) (it's doable on a tablet with a stylus, I promise lol). So far I've been playing in a very sandbox way with no AI enabled, building things at a very relaxed pace, and I've accidentally destroyed my reputation with a city that I need to build a station in to complete a rail line I've been working on. (I mean I could just go around, but it was an important part of the entire plan from the start)
After some investigation, it appears that since I'm playing on the pelya version, the full cheat menu isn't available to me to turn on permissive town building (I believe it's called?), and because newer versions of Android deny access to app folders without root access, I can't edit openttd.cfg manually. Does anyone have any recommendations? Even if there is a way to repair my reputation with this individual city in this particular instance, I just don't want to be worried about city reputation in general when I'm building large networks. Building from source is something I've done before, but I'm not a super pro at it either. (I could borrow a friend's PC for this)
Any and all help appreciated!!
Modifying openttd.cfg or accessing the full cheat menu in the pelya Android version

If you can change the setting by editing openttd.cfg, you can almost certainly also change it by using the in-game console.
You can use the list_settings command to search the available setting names, and then the set command to change it.
