settings menu incomplete after installation

I am new to this game (last time was windows 3.1...).
Installed from Microsoft Store
Desktop PC, Win 10, all OK
Laptop, Win 11, settings menu does not contain cargodist, town grid 2x2/3x3, disable subsisdies news and a lot of other options. Uninstall/reinstall did not help.
Is there something obvious, I do not inderstand?
Please help! No OTTD on the road for me?

The default mode of the 'Settings' window is to show the 'Basic' settings - the drop-down at the very top of the screen.
Change that to one of the next 2 options to see more.
