Overflow design wanted

Post by smurfix »

Hi,

so I want to build an overflow depot. Except I'm using JGRPP with realistic braking, thus only path signals are available, thus I can't trick YAPF into sending a train into a dead end. Not frankly would I want to.

It's easy to do this with conditional orders and a waypoint, but my order lists are complicated enough as they are. Is it even possible to do this with programmable PBSes, given that YAPF doesn't generate routes through back-to-back depots?

you should be able to achieve this by modifying the pathfinder penalties, particularly, the occupied platform penalty must be (a bit) larger than the reverse in depot penalty.
