How to edit an existing scenario?

Post by hoover »

Hi folks,

please excuse my ignorance, however I cannot figure out how to edit / open an existing scenario in openttd scenario editor 13.4.

I'd like to add a couple of towns to the excellent Greece (v2) scenario by (notably, Keramoti and Filippi near Kavala and Plakias, Siteia and Agio Nikolaos on Crete), and I've tried both the -e and -g command line options (running on Xubuntu 22.04) but apparently they don't help with editing this scenario.

I've found the tar file in content_download and I can access its contents just fine.

Thanks in advance for any help on the matter, thanks for your work on openttd!

Never mind, I found the answer myself (long click on the "save" icon will show the "load scenario" item among others).

Sorry for the noise :-)

Don't worry. The game being this old and predating most of the modern desktop environments, some UI elements may be unintuitive.
