I'm having trouble, no idea why.
I'm using JGR 51.1 but when I just the various object grfs, I get mostly blanks (see the pics).
I've also tried with JUST these grf to ensure there's no conflicts from other grfs.

Any suggextions?

Could you also post a screenshot of your GRFlist?
Could possibly be that you are using an obsolete GRF that is conflicting with the others.

I have almost all AUZ objects in my JGR51.1 and all is fine.

Doublecheck Kamnets list of Auz GRFs (especially list of outdated at the bottom)

Furthermore, I believe that most stuff on BaNaNas is pretty much outdated too...
Most up-to-date things are here in the Forum.

I just have auzobjects and auzstationsnormal (latest versions downloaded from this forum category) and NO OTHER grfs (to avoid the conflicts that you suggest could be happening)

I can't access bananas anyway (a long story...the library computer I'm using won't allow me to run ottd)

I'm not a novice but I can't understand what is going wrong. I did read somewhere about a grf where objects don't properly show up it they are date activated but normally they appear but are greyed out. I have that on some station grfs from ages ago.

I'll check the list and make sure I have updated files.

Reason I ask for a screenshot of your GRFlist, is because of the first screenshot you posted.
It looks like some kind of testGRF is possibly messing some things up.
Those graphics have to come from somewhere...
They look like they come from the templates that Garry (and me too) use to test if large structures are placed correctly.

The best way to test, is making a screenshot of your current GRFlist.
Then empty it in your game and then add the GRFs one by one, using previously made GRFlist shot, each time in a new game offcourse and then see when things go wrong.
I know I know, that can take some time, but it's good to know if there is something conflicting out there...

I use JGR and have no problem. I guess it's some kind of collision with other graphics. Just to be sure - weren't they changed during the game?

AuzTownObjectsAddOns
Subject: Making set of Seawalls so can be used on land.

Still working on seawalls, ramps with steps and sloped gardens.

I did the Slope Aware seawalls so can go on land.
There 4 types .. the ones shown here, brick, stone and moss stone.
Also done gardens that can go on slope of flat land.
Foundations 1.png
Foundations 1.png (42.17 KiB) Viewed 2066 times
The seawalls that have the steps a problem at the moment. The steps overlap in southerly direction and paths and other objects hide the steps like in the image.
Foundations 2.png

Maybe the answer is to sink the steps into the foundation like this.

It taking me a lot longer then I thought with the project.

AuzTownObjectsAddOns
Subject: Making set of Seawalls so can be used on land.

Can let you have a test what I been doing past few days.

The gardens shown previous posts can be found under the Object menu "Gardens"
I've only did southerly directions with the slope gardens.

The foundations, steps and ramps can be found under "Parks + Paths".
The steps and ramps in this image I have only down the south-west direction for now .. will do other direction eventually once I happy with the actualy designs of these.
Foundations 6.png
Foundations 6.png (44.33 KiB) Viewed 1731 times
These steps that are sunken into the foundations face both southerly directions.
Foundations 5.png
Foundations 5.png (28.28 KiB) Viewed 1731 times
I did slope aware foundations. Some with all concrete slabs at the top and some with lawns (mowed grass).

Plans:
* I plan to make some more path ways to align with the wide steps and the steps with the gardens.
* Make some multi select foundations facing south-east and south-west to match the slope aware, but to include people and looking at pinching some of "fridaemon" objects.
* Make a set of ramps and stairs to go on side of slopes.

Here the game file if like to test what I did so far.
Woops .. I uploaded the NML instead of the GRF .. lets try again.

Cheers.

Looking good!

A couple of remarks:

1. Doublecheck your menu-graphics, some are not correct:
Example770.png
Example770.png (21.9 KiB) Viewed 1680 times
Only this one, the others are correct

Example771.png
Example771.png (37.81 KiB) Viewed 1680 times
All four

2. For the stairs that are not an entire tile wide (so also those that will have a ramp next to them).
I think it is ok to add the missing part of the fence at the top of the stairs in the graphic of the ramp.
So that they connect to stairs on the seawalls:
Example772.png
Example772.png (55.77 KiB) Viewed 1680 times

3. The lights...
That may be a bit of a more personal taste thing, but some lights look good, some dont...
I think it has to do with the size (especially hight) of the lights.
The "original" ones, so the lightgrey short ones (as in the picture above), those look good with two on a tile.
The "new" ones, not so much...
The modern looking ones are high, which is ok on their own, but two so close too each other is too much...
Same with the bended ones, too close to each other.
It just feels a bit too much, dont really know how to describe it ;-)
I think it is better looking to only use the "original" shorter lightgrey lights for all the different foundations...

Appreciate your feedback.
Will fix those menu-graphics .. that a problem when we flip things it throws things out of order and I forget to check
For the stairs that are not an entire tile wide (so also those that will have a ramp next to them).
I left the fences out deliberately for now as wondering if any one would use these stairs differently. Will add the fences and if any one reports using them differently will do some with out the fences as well.
That may be a bit of a more personal taste thing, but some lights look good, some dont...
I think it has to do with the size (especially hight) of the lights.
Maybe those with the red brick could be a bit shorter .. but 4 pixels.

Same with the bended ones, too close to each other.
I think your right should only be one light pole.

The foundations with the lawn (originally part of the golf course you helped me with :D ) Wonder if look better if the lights was moved to other side of the path . away from the fence. Seen a few images on inter with the lights like that.
I think it is better looking to only use the "original" shorter lightgrey lights for all the different foundations...
I not sure if all the lights to look the same .. I think the brownish walls and brick could be modern looking and the grey stone ones be a bit older looking.
See what I can do tomorrow morning .. but lunch time I going train watching and again Tuesday morning weather permitting. Wednesday had medical appointments.

Did go train watching as weather turned bad, so stayed home and been fixing and changing a few things in
AuzTownObjectAddOns.

Changed the lighting to some of the foundation as suggested by Quast65. The red brick and the grey stones instead of 2 lights changed it to 1 lights.

The foundations with the path and lawns .. moved the lights to other side of the path.
Foundations 7.png
Foundations 7.png (30.44 KiB) Viewed 1551 times
After doing those then wondered if those with the wide path if the lights could be moved to the middle of the path.
Something like these.
Foundations 8.png
Foundations 8.png (5.79 KiB) Viewed 1551 times
I fixed these and then realized I don't really need them as already have them in the slope aware sets so if no objections I will delete these.

Found a error in the slope aware in the ones with path and lawns .. have the path wrong side with some east and west slope pieces. So hope fix those during the week.

Cheers

Thanks for finding a few errors.
Those slope aware foundation walls was not meant to go on water. AuzWaterObjects has its own set with a different path way.

But you gave me a idea where I can use the triangle pieces of walls to place on the water. They multi select at moment, but will change them cause every time you select a piece it costs you even with the building cost set to 0.

Hope have them ready before the weekend.

Thanks to all for the suggestions. I'll try with vanilla Ottd and I'll clear the grf list entries just in case...

For info, I did start with a completely fresh game and JUST the one or two Auz... grfs, Absolutely nothing else, and I know changing grfs mid game could cause issues so I wouldn't be doing that and they complaining it doesn't work. It's likely a small problems well hidden...I'll get it 'maybe'.
