Speed limited vehicles can make up time

It would be great if a vehicle that has a speed limit set via timetabling, could exceed that maximum speed when it's late in order to make up time and get back on schedule. That would be realistic, given that speed is still limited by train and track type, and it would allow for more flexibility and interesting setups using timetabling.
