Another game like OpenTTD

hey, i found anohter game like openTTD. It´s named Captain of Industry.

It doesn't come close to openTT. But is something fresh maybe in the future and can provide variety. The biggest disadvantage is the missing multiplayer mode. But you can vote for multiplayer over here: https://ideas.captain-of-industry.com/s ... ultiplayer
So maybe the will add multiplayer in the future.

This game doesn't look similar to OpenTTD at all. It seems to be focused on building and upgrading industries (which would make it similar to Factorio), as well as managing a town (similar to SimCity?) For what it's worth, this game doesn't even have trains.

Trains should come in future. It´s about transporting things from 1 point to another. The game feelings looks somekind of openTTD. The lack of multiplayer is the huge difference to openTTD.

Even if this game already had trains, my point would still hold. This game focuses on things that are mostly left out in OpenTTD and similar games.

For the same reason, their hypothetical train system (if it appears at all) will likely be very primitive in comparison to OpenTTD. Implementing it with a comparable level of complexity would require a huge effort, and the outcome would be a niche feature that's apparently not exactly crucial for the gameplay.

Yes, but it´s about transportating goods. And it looks that the game can trigger similar feelings.

It looks neat, but OpenTTD is about a transport empire whereas this looks more like a management and maybe a city builder game.

Definitely overlaps with the interest of many who enjoy Tycoon games, though, so fair play.
