I'm also at a loss, because I prefer the darker pavement. But duplicating the parking to accommodate the lighter pavement seems both the right thing to do and completely overkill. I generally prefer consistency but picking one or the other would mean a whole ton of work on a whole lots of sets. That effort is likely not worth it.

I appreciate the feed back helps get the brain working. I changed the paving for the Bunnings.
I think when I make a industry that has customer parking I just make some front sections like I did to Bunnings so can be used with the normal car parks.

I think I could do similar for the Basketball and Skate Park buildings. In process of doing a Ice Skating buildings and it can have the dark pavement out the front.

I hoping to get all object sets ready to upload to Bananas in January even if they not really finished. After I do that I will work on my trains for a while as got lot of photos of the new colour schemes with train here. If I haven't started adding to Bananas by mid January keep reminding me.

Cheers

Auz Industry Objects Add Ons

Here is a Christmas Present for you all.

Sport Stadiums I added some more fronts with the dark paving so can be used with normal car parks. The fronts I add before with light colours concrete are still there, but if you have no objections I plan to remove them. Let me know before end of the year.

Re: AuzObjects

Hope every one had a lovely Christmas and now getting ready to bring in the New Year.

In the AuzIndustryObjectAddOns .. I put in a Basketball Stadium and a Skate Park .. they in the wrong object set .. they suppose to go in the AuzSportsObjects.

I will now remove them but will also place a copy in Sports Objects as well, plus I making a few more.
I made some buildings to use with the sport stadiums, and now I make front pieces so you can decide what type of sport stadium you want.
Some fronts I be making are, BasketBall, Skate Park, Ice Skating, Super Strike (Tenpin bowling), Fitness Center, Maybe a indoor swimming.

These some of the buildings I did and a sample of some front (but these fronts need adjusting).
There is a Curved roof (but now happy with the roof colour, but not sure how to fix it), flat roof and a sloped roof.

Cheers

This kind of design for modern fitness center seems popular, with 1-3 sides being nearly all glass, 2-3 stories tall.

Nice idea with transparency glass walls but that means I have to try design some exercise machines and people doing to aerobics and other exercises. Any volunteers to make them for me :D

AuzSportObjects

Subject: Sport Stadiums

Got side tracked from the Auz Industry Objects Add Ons as came up with idea of under cover sports .. hence the Sports Stadiums.
These some images of what I done so far.

There are 2 roof colours to choose from. These I need to lift them a few pixels higher so that the flat roof ones can be used with them.

Theres several different colour flat roof buidlins to choose from.
sportsStadiums03.png

The front sections and car parks are separate pieces so you can decide what sports you want played in the buildings you produced.
So fare I have Basketball Stadium, Tenpin Bowls and Skate Park.

Hope have it available to upload intime for the weekend so you can play your games from one year to the next. :D

AuzIndustryObjectsAddOns

Subject: Fences with dark paving

I did some fences with the dark paving to match up with the car parks.
This image had objects from Auz Industry Objects Add Ons, Auz Sport Objects and Auz Car Park Objects.
(Problem I am having is make some objects to go in one set and realize later it could also go in some of the other sets).

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL.

BaNaNaS

I was hoping to start this year seeing if I can get things organized to up load the object sets to Bananas.

Been looking at the object sets and there are some with a few errors and with uncompleted work.

I did not realize till I looked last night that AuzTownObjectsAddOns had some overlap car parking not completed .. only did one direction and not been able to find my templates so can finish the other direction. The AuzRoadObjects sets are a mess.

* Should I still upload these as they are and try fix them later and just keep adding to them as I make new items?

* Should I just make completely new sets and sort them properly?

Your drawings are great and I use them in the game. Thanks! But I think it would be better to create completely new sets and sort them properly.

Thank you for your feedback.

I will make new sets and so they know it is a new set I will start their name with "AuzNew".

The New sets will have the same objects in them as the old sets have so if you have a game in progress continue to use those games I have down load here in the forums.

I will NOT release the new sets till they are all completed which could take me a few months to do.

The errors I mentioned in some sets if I able to fix them will update the old version so that set can continue to be used in games in progress.

Hope that makes sence.

Cheers

I would advise against calling it "New", because the term is so quickly outdated. For example, Michael Blunk's "New Stations" is now one of the oldest stations sets available.

I wouldn't worry about current in-progress games. You're not supposed to be updating stuff in the middle of current games to begin with, most players won't have this enabled. Keep the same names and same NewGRF IDs. When players visit the Content Download section they'll be able to see that a new version is available, they won't see that if you change things. Further, adding a new set with a new name is just going to create confusion about what things players should be downloading and create clutter in the index.

That sounds logical. Shall keep original names.

In some sets such as AuzWaterObjects and AuzWaterObjectsAddOns, I have Jettys, wharves and some over items in both .. was hoping to do some shuffling so all the Jettys are together, all the wharves are together and so on .. it would mean some objects in AuzWaterObjectAddOns will end up in AuzWaterObjects and visa versa. Hope doing that will be ok

Same with the AuzTownObject sets. Was hoping to make a lot of objects in that set as multi select to make room for new objects. AuzTownObjects was full but I started making multi-select objects and at the moment I now have 39 spare IDs.

Was looking at filling AuzTownObjects with just houses and commercial type buildings found in towns. And AuzTownObjectsAddOns was going to place all the Parks, Fun Fairs, camping and gardens in this set.
kamnet wrote: 02 Jan 2023 02:29 You're not supposed to be updating stuff in the middle of current games to begin with
In this case changing ID and shuffling around so they easier to find should be ok?
kamnet wrote: 02 Jan 2023 02:29 Keep the same names and same NewGRF IDs.
Could do that keep original names and NewGRF IDS. Just the objects themselves might end up with new IDs.

Hope it ok I do this as long as I keep original names and NewGRF IDs.

Hello, i need to ask if you could do some objects (mainly industrial and car parking sets) with overlaps, to cover OTIS industries. Right now i kinda struggle with the few objects i have from you and Fridaemon.

As Kamnet said (viewtopic.php?p=1257179#p1257179) Farm objects are great candidate to that (crops, flowers, silos, livestock, etc...). Industry Objects also has many objects that would be very usefull to have overlaping (Oilwells, pipelines, factories, etc...).
