Woops .. I forgot to code in the improved concrete road bridge .. the ends should look same as the rail bridge :oops:

The objects go right next to the road to make it look like a bridge.

I think DemianWSE and I can let you have a try of what we been doing.
There is 5 sections in this set.
: Rail Bridges
: Road Bridges
: Culverts (From the AuzRoadObjects and AuzRailObjects sets)
: Embankments (From the AuzRoadObjects and AuzRailObjects sets)
: River Crossing (Has bridges for the fake roads and some pedestrian bridges to go with parks and pathways).

Work still in progress and plan to add a few more.

The main idea of these is to have bridges to cross the rivers and lakes without the hump you need with normal bridges.
This image shows a normal hump bridge where you have to have the ramps to cross over the river (suitable if you have boats using the river) and one of our object bridges (boats can not pas under these).

You only need to bulldoze one river tile to place your road or rail and then place the object bridges on both sides to get the bridge affect.

Looks good. I like the last one because it gives the impression that the bridge is raised off the ground.

I need to experiment with the ends of the bridges as the slope look I have now just don't seem right. Hope to work on that later today.

Update to our object bridges.

Was hoping to have an update for you to use by last Saturday, but with some private lives and changing the ideas for the girder (truss) bridges delayed our plan.

The slope section for the bridges been fiddling with those .. then all of a sudden I thought why not uses the same as used in the ordinary bridges.

So this image is using that same style of on and off ramps. Also have a painted grey bridge and also a rust type.

This bridges have 6 spans and also have a 8 span one as they are designs I seen in real.

Will try get these done this week .. but we both have some other commitments so shall see what happens.

Sorry I not done any more to the object bridges this week. Been busy with family commitments and yesterday spent all day on trains and getting videos.

Hope be able to work on the bridges either tomorrow or over the weekend.

I don't know how many of you all play with JGR's version. There's a possibility to have road waypoints. Could you think about having your newgrf in this way too? :bow: :oops:

We been looking at idea of object road bridges that maybe the road waypoints can be used with. But due to health problems past few weeks not been able to do much about finishing it. Hope can work on them again soon.

Finally able to start working on the projects again.

Done 5 object road bridges that can be used to cross rivers.
Top is a causeway. Then Iron Plate Bridge, brick arch bridge and 2 wooden bridges.

Finally been able to work on the object road and rail bridges for crossing rivers and lakes.

Some bridges can be used with actual roads and railway lines and a few are object bridges to use with the fake roads.

Hi! Sorry it took so long to reply. I don't really play with JGR's. The idea of road waypoints sounds great, but I wouldn't know how to code them. If anyone else wants to do it, they're more than welcome to use our graphics :)

Hi! Downloads are already available! AuzArgyBridgeObjects is 2 posts above yours, and Fake Bridges Waypoints is in the first post of this thread and in the ingame downloader. I was going to copy the links below, but maybe it causes confusion, as there has not been any development since last year (and there's no future update planned). Let me know if you can't find them.
