GRFs+GRF Templates disappear after upgrading to newest version

So, I recently upgraded to the newest version, 12.2 and after Installing I copied my Content_download and newgrfs folder to the newest version. After that, I opened up the game, downloaded the new base sets and decided to check my grfs, but the only grfs that appeared were the ones I downloaded off the forums and my ''Content downloaded'' grfs custom templates do not appear. despite the folder still being there with all its contents, the game doesn't find the files. How can I get the content_downloads folder to work again? (There is no message telling me that some files are invalid or broken and no log is created.)

most likely it's searching for them in the wrong place.

Copy over your openttd.cfg as well, openttd will look in the documents folder if there is no .cfg present in the game folder
