Subsidies in multiplayer.

Have noticed several times that when playing in Multiplayer mode that if a player who is a client gets a subsidy, but during the period of the subsidy they drop off line and have to log back in again immediately, the subsidy is gone .
Is this the intended outcome or a bug?

no feature in multiplayer should depend on whether the player is online or not.

also, subsidies are awarded to "companies", not "players". there may be multiple players in a single company.
