resize status bar

Is there a possibility to enlarge status bar? I have it on the bottom on the screen in the center (but is not occupying entire bottom screen)

Do you mean like make it full width of the screen, but the same height as it already is?

I guess it is not possible to resize the status bar, right?

Not in the game as it is right now, no.

Personally I've also thought about it a bunch of times, that it might be nice to have an option to make it full width, or maybe even just change it. One challenge of doing that would be the "short" news ticker: If the bar is wider then the news messages will take longer to scroll past it, and delay further news messages even further.

If we are talking about status bar... It could look like this (+categories). Scrollers are good for short trivial msges not for important informations.
