Welcome back, there is a manual for OpenTTD on its wiki: https://wiki.openttd.org/OpenTTD.Ttycoon1985 wrote: ↑28 Jun 2020 09:11 Hello,
I just registered. I played Transport Tycoon in 90s and I discovered this game OpenTTD that is quite similar to Transport Tycoon. However, it's been a while I don't play Transport Tycoon. Are there any tutorials or guides to play OpenTTD?
Thanks!

I've played OpenTTD on a PC from 2005 without issues, so you should have no problems on a modern average laptop.

A modern CPU will do you well, but you're right, pathfinding is a CPU intensive process. You won't notice anything until you have quite a considerable amount of units active, and even then you probably won't notice the slow down in norrmal place, just the 'fast forward' button is less fast than before.Ttycoon1985 wrote: ↑28 Jun 2020 11:19 Another question I have is if I can play this game on an average laptop because I am concerned about CPU power when lots of vehicles are involved.
