Boat Harbour is a fishing village located on the New South Wales coast, Australia. The natural harbour provides a save anchorage for the fishing fleet and calm beaches to swim at.
If you love the surf, plenty of places to go to enjoy the waves. It a great tourist attraction and the caravan park is always full during school vacations.
Local farms in the area grow grapes for wines and a variety of other crops.
One of the fishing boats reported a huge catch so other boats are heading out to sea to see what they can see.

Still a work in progress.
There are 7 docks. Currently 5 of them in use. 47 ships frequent this large port. they come from far. Chemicals, Petroleum fuels, coal, Iron ore and food are being delivered by ships and then transported by train from the port to a great freight hub nearby.

I'd also ban JPGs but I'm not the moderator anymore so... :P

Anyway here's my entry:
Yamagata Harbour serves several important industries in the area. Plastics, fertiliser and tyres are all produced here and shipped away. The port is also a hub for transshipment with terminals for containers and bulk cargo. The industrial tramway is a functioning remnant from older times, and the disused tram platforms at the bulk terminal are still visible.

Just a couple of hours before we open the polls. Guess I'd best get my entry in. :D
Great Harbour was built by filling in between several islands. Due to the trend to very long trains, something had to be done. At the moment there are three terminals: CoalTerm, GrainTerm and ConTerm. One can see a fourth terminal being developed in the upper left corner, CruiseTerm. Today is July 1, Canada Day, so things are very quiet.

Uploading mine in a couple of minutes!

EDIT: Here's my entry. An old-fashioned harbour, bringing beer & ciders from the local brewery around the globe! Ferries bring passengers from the town to the nearby beachy islands, a popular spot now during the summer.

Here be the official entries for June 2020. Happy voting. :D
AlexTheDacian wrote:Part of the Szczetów Industrial Complex, the Kielwice Harbour is regarded as one of the busiest harbours in the entire Warszlowice Fjord. First mentioned around 1296 CE, it was home to the old Daclawek Order, a highly respected society of knights. After the brief but bloody crusade against the Turzerskes, the Daclaweks settled in the far end of the fjord, and founded the Szczetów settlement. During the first years the knights found in the mountains near the settlement traces of gems and iron, two very sought after commodities that brought very huge quantities of silver and gold to this little settlement.

As such, the Daclawek Order's settlement became a very popular trading port for the people all around the coasts of the Kalothalom Sea. With each passing year, the settlement gradually expanded, and in a few decades it housed almost 70,000 people: merchants, artisans, mercenaries, farmers, miners. During the 17th century of the Imperial Era, when the 70-Years War was at its peak, the city was razed to the ground by the Turzerskes who wanted revenge for their defeat in the crusade. After the war ended, the surviving population started rebuilding the city, brick by brick, stone by stone. It's estimated that it took almost 50 years before the city reached again its former glory.

As the 20th century of the Insurrection Era draws near, the Kielwice Harbour was modernised to streamline the delivery of weapons to be used against the Turzerskes who launched daring raids against the newly formed Leošava Federation.
During these years, the harbour saw the construction of a new protective jetty, to help against the severe water and wind erosion. With the Turzerskes being completely purged from the existence, the high demand for engineering supplies and with the increased flow of traffic in the Warszlowice Fjord and the whole of Kalothalom Sea, the city of Szczetów may soon see a new golden age of commerce and knowledge as it boldly enters the Information age.
