Modern UK Trainset

Modern UK Trainset is an add-on for BRTrains, designed to work with it to fill in the gaps. BRTrains stopped development around 2015, so this trainset adds most british rail classes introduced since which BRTrains lacks. This set is designed more towards realism, having real-to-life rolling stock as 'whole' trains rather than individual locos/passenger cars for variable train lengths. However the set has been balanced (or at least attempted) regarding passenger numbers, engine power, etc.

The trains are available in real liveries, which can be changed by refitting.

This set is very nice. I love the range of newer British trains that we currently dont have in the game.

Just a few points, the 68s and mk5s have 5 carriages and 1 loco, in the set it only has 4. Also the different types of flirt, 3 and 4 car cannot be joined together. This would be quite nice.

Any chance of including the 700?

I'll fix the mk5a stock; must have miscounted the cars.
Do you mean you'd like to be able to join a 3car to a 4car flirt or vice-versa? Thats certainly doable.

The 700/0/1 are included in brtrains; is there something considerably wrong with those that would warrant re-doing them?

I've gone ahead and pushed version 1.1.0 to BaNaNaS. This version includes a fix to the length of the Class 68 / Mark 5A and now allows for multiple working within classes. It's fully backwards compatible and won't break saves made with versions 1.0.0 or 1.0.1. You should now be able to make the 54 carriage long class 800 of your dreams. Or maybe just connect two 769's together.

The new minimum version for the game is now 1.4.0 rather than 1.2.0, but I don't expect this to be an issue considering 1.4.0 is now 6 years old.

We are interested in adding sounds to this pack as well a couple of other things we've noticed, along with maybe making some other UK rail GRFs to create a sort of complete family.
Right now, however, we're both taking a break to work on other projects - we'll return to TTD modding at some later date, we're just not sure when.

Ah Ok, But I suggest adding the class 345 in 7-car format as well as the class 803 for East Coast Trains.
