Any evolution in trolleybus and ship sets?

Post by fridaemon »

Hi!

Is there any new graphic for trolleybusses or passenger ships? In present there are so many trolleybusses and ships (for example Venice public transport) and no grf for it. :| And one more thing I miss - more types of docks and bus stations in one game. Can u recommend something? Thanks ;)

As far as I know, currently there is only one new forthcoming trolleybus set, featuring vehicles from Poland. I helped to do the research for them earlier this year, but I've not seen any updates on it. Aside from that, I've not heard of or seen any public announcements on forthcoming trolleybus or ship projects.

OpenTTD does not possess the ability to have multiple styles of docks or bus stations, and I've not seen any public announcements on any developer working to change that. You can, however modify the looks of both by using Object sets that will overlay the docks, stations and other items.

NRT doesn't allow differing station graphics either? That's a bit of an oversight :)

It's a known issue that's been brought up before, but it doesn't appear to be high on anybody's list to work on right now.

Excuse the impudence to advertise one of my GRFs, but if you're looking for a venice type public transport, you can take a look at the Water Way Road grf. It already has motor boats and gondolas, more to be added
