UK map

Does anyone have a GOOD UK map? The one that came with locomotion seems way too cluttered for my tastes and I don't know how to edit it. So I was wondering if there's a better UK map (less cities or larger map size) than the bundled ones.

I have tried searching the forum but I'm coming up empty.

When you say edit it, do you mean adding/removing towns/industries and modifying landscape? Because you can open the map in the scenario editor and do just that. However I'm not aware of a tool that allows you to make sweeping changes.

There isn't, there were early regional maps done about maybe 5-10 years ago by Badger and also Sarahagain, but nothing much else and I doubt you'll ever get a map of the UK in one hit because of the size in relation to the hard coded max tile limit for any map. Realistically because you cannot take the land to the map's edge and to get the whole of the UK in means you have to compress and distort features which destroys what you wish to do, so sorry but the regional maps are probably your best bet.
