Train speed glitch?

So recently trains just go at 24km which is annoying because I can’t tell if it’s a new feature or speed limits? What can be the cause?

Firstly which game are you experiencing this in, OTTD or Locomotion?
If its OTTD do you have any track mods enabled? There are a number which have speed limits.
Secondly, make sure the reliability of the vehicle (whether in OTTD or Loco) is good, if not you will need to replace it.
