How to enable new non-stop behaviour in existing game?

I've got a really good game going on but didn't have the "new non-stop handling" turned on. I need it now unfortunately, so is there any way to turn it on in this already existing game? (would enabling "rebuild ttdpatch.ovl every run" do the trick?)

nonstop on
(OVL need to be delete on every change in CFG)
and
Cht: AllNonStop (or somthin like that, check manual)

This isn't correct. The OVL should be deleted only when upgrading TTDPatch, but changes in the config doesn't affect it at all.

it does have effect if forcerebuildovl is OFF, but if it is on then it will have no affect
