The penultimate station on the line is Kingscote - complete with a new signal box to control operations towards East Grinstead. Here we must wait to pass 0-4-0 No 3 Baxter.

We reach our terminus in East Grinstead. Here we can make National Rail connections to London Victoria through a short walk to the mainline station. Note the former East Grinstead Low Level station which is now a car park.

Just one (large one!) for today. Here's a view of a fairly busy Ashford International station:

Shortly to arrive into Platform 1 is a terminating Southern train from Brighton. Standing at Platform 3 is a high speed Southeastern service to St Pancras - this train runs on a clockwise rotation through Margate and Dover Priory. Platform 4 has a stopping Eurostar service to Paris Gare du Nord. Standing at Platform 5 is a Southeastern regional service to Charing Cross originating from Ramsgate via Canterbury West. Finally, departing Platform 6 is a regional Southeastern service to Ramsgate.

It has a complete network rail connection to Paddington and between T2&3 and 4. Couldn't quite squeeze in the Underground though!

Indeed there is:

However, I didn't have an A380 and besides, if I'd just put one plane in there then it wouldn't have been symmetrical and I would have gone mad

All of the 'major' London rail terminals are built and all other than Kings Cross have trains running in to them.

Next task is North London!

Wow! That is absolutely stunning! Probably the best representation of a real life station I've ever seen in OTTD.

Bit heavy on the 747s aren't you?! I counted 53 BA 747s alone, and they only 41! Even in their heyday they only had 55

In all seriousness with that one though, again, it's brilliant, shame you couldn't fit in the Tube, but it's all Underground anyway, so we can just "pretend" :P

747s were the only plane objects that I had in BA livery. So it was either have tons of BA 747s or tons of smaller planes in random liveries

I need motivation! If anyone lives in the South East and wants to see their local station let me know. I guess I can accept requests from people who don't live there too

That Ashford International really does look nice, as does the airport.

Wouldn't mind seeing your take on Southend Central!

There's a bridge across the high street immediately after the station to the east, bonus points if you can get that in!

Also, is that a British stations set with functional single sided platforms you're using?

Thanks for the kind words :D

Southend Central:

A train from London Fenchurch St sits at Platform 4 while a train approaches over the High St bridge from Shoeburyness.

The main station sets I use are the Japan station set (as in Southend Central) or the Dutch station set (as in Ashford). Was it one of those you meant?

Bloody hell! No half measures with you are there!
That is absolutely stunning!

I love the high street and bridge across the main road, and very nice representation of the university.
And is that Victoria Shopping Centre I see in the north there?

Amazing attention to detail

As for the platforms, it was from a bit further back, like this one

EDIT: ahhh, it's the suburban stations set, though I wouldn't mind making use of single side platforms with that set as well! Don't seem to have them on mine :/

They could well be from this one here. Slightly older version of the set.

So the game has finally started to run slowly on my poor laptop!

The introduction of some more Crossrail routes may be the issue. The Bedford - Brighton route, for example, covers 653 x 3634 tiles from one end to the other!
