I think it'd need to be the same uploader as the original, so they can 'replace' it in the BaNaNaS system, this will enable people in the OpenTTD online content browser to select the update button, and then gracefully update the GRF instead of an entirely new entity GRF?

I'm also currently learning NML, so I might be able to offer help there in the future.

I'll try it out, 0.3.8 is almost ready: more than 14 new trains.

Hello. There's a JGR patch server that requires version 0.3.7, and the version from in-game GRF downloader is not matching. It worked couple days ago. Is there a way to get the version somewhere? Thanks.

Update
v0.3.8
It is on BaNaNaS, but under a different name (BRTrains Gwyd's Upload) and uses a different NewGRF ID, to get around the upload system's anti-duplication rules., Download as you normally would
What's Added?
Class 375 (2 variants)
Class 376
Class 377 (5 variants)
Class 378 (5 variants)
Class 379
Class 387
5 new liveries for the class 442
Graphics for the class 68 fixed
Graphics for the class 220/221 fixed

If there is anyway to get this assigned to the other BRTrains upload, this would be great.

NOT COMPATIBLE WITH OLDER VERSIONS. THIS MAY CHANGE.

Now compatible with other versions!
Thanks to Leanden for helping me with that!

Also added Class 450
Trains might need re-balancing

But I could change the GRF ID back, so that magics could be done.

Gwyd.

Really appreciate the work, did you guys make any progress on the repo?

Can you send me some of the code youve used for the latest version so i can compare coding styles?

A quick update on my personal/medical situation, i finally have a hospital appointment for the end of this month which includes treatment.

Hopefully if this goes well i should have some restored use of my hands and i can code more frequently.

Gwyd, something i forgot to mention before, im not sure what specs you are using for the new trains, but i have a huge sheet of pre-determined stats including purhasing and running cost modifiers i can share with you for the sake of consistency. (Also includes air drag and te coefficients and some other stuff)

That's good to know. I've been kinda fumbling my way through costs. Should dual voltage trains cost more?
Where might I access this sheet?

Also a thing that i noticed, the capacities of 387s are less than the in-game ones, theyre 225 instead of 246.

But the fact that its based of realistic capacities is very welcoming, the other set had a basic number for each coach and had tube trains that can only hold 20 people.

Is 225 the seated capacity? If so, I think 246 should perhaps remain because of standing passengers? Just my opinion on that matter though.

Edited to fix my awful English grammar, I'm tired ok! :P

I set it to have a standing capacity, so it was actually worth buying a class 378

Looked at the update and it looks cool! More trains, the better :D

Are my intercity mk1 coaches going to be in the mod? I'm making more of the Mk1 variety like royal mail etc. They are only a livery extension of the mk1's already in the mod, so just adding them to the livery list is nice

(also the realignment issue on the 37 and the mk1, seems to affect the 68 with the mk1 as well, I think it's the carriages themselves that are the issue.)

Coming Soon: Royal Mail Mk1's, Sealink Mk1's(dunno if already posted), Different Liveries for the Gresley Coaches!

Oh, seems like I've never posted the sealink coaches, thought I did, but here!

Are there any other types of coaches with the sealink livery? Show me a picture!

There should be separated passenger cargo, for example. CK should hold 20 Second Class, 15 First Class. Or BSK should carry mail/parcels along with passengers

The Mk1s you've drawn will be added soon, however I have planned the next couple of updates. Speaking of which v0.4.0 is out! It finishes off Thameslink (Class 319 & 700) and Gatwick Express (Class 73 set & 460).
