[OpenTTD] Modern Maglev Trains v. 1.4
This set is no longer being maintained. The spiritual successor of MMT is RIMS, with better looking trains with real liveries, and without all the clutter from ancient forgotten test vehicles.
Modern Maglev Trains
The Modern Maglev Trains set contains maglev trains from around the world, 39 vehicles from 8 different countries. The first train appears in 1971, the last one in 2017.

It isn't compatible with previous version savegames.
Maybe you should add version number to file in order to avoid conflicts with other versions.

Also, I found another british one after doing some googling. You may use this one too if you want. I don't know the exact specifications, but here's my 2 cents:
Name: "The Maglev" (Let's just agree to call it BR Maglev)
Max speed: ~30km/h
Capacity: 12 passengers
Mass: ~4 metric tonnes
Year: ~1977

This Maglev -set looks promising!
I played with your early version before while it wasn't finished. So, I started today a new game with this set included...
I have high expectations and will try out the parameters for loading speed, which is something I hope you did improve!

That was probably the final update to MMT. Kind of lost the drive. I wanted to work on MMT 2.0, but a lot of things went wrong, so that'll go on hold indefinitely. Don't worry tho. MMT 1.3 has all the maglev trains you'd ever bother to want in OpenTTD, and now that it has tweakable costs, I think it's safe to say that this project can do without updates for a while.

So while I was working on a semi-related project, I realised that the generic Passenger carriage for an unexplained reason didn't show up when you are playing OpenTTD with both MMT and MTS. I couldn't get the passengers to show up for the different railtypes of MTS, so I did the next best thing and I made a wagon for each of the railtypes. So yeah; quick and dirty fix for people who want to play MMT with MTS.
