Security Certificate Expired?

Post by Pilot »

Morning Guys,

Just logged onto the forums this morning, and got a message about the Security Certificate Expiring. See screenshot below (I didn't expand it fully when I screenshotted though, like the muppet I am! )

I'm guessing this isn't just a me issue and is a forum issue, but just in case, I thought I'd put it here :) Browser is Chrome, if that makes a difference.

Yep, it expired about an hour ago, I meant to renew it last week but it slipped my mind... sorry!

Perhaps not related, but I can't post from Chrome now. When pressing Submit, nothing happens. When using Firefox, it seems OK. A hard refresh did nothing to alleviate the issue.

EDIT: Firefox won't show me avatars or images in the signature though. Bah!

So now I'm getting another warning when I'm trying to open an Attachment, such as the very same one that I posted here this morning.

Hmm, I'll look into this - not sure what Google thinks is harmful, but I'll investigate.

It turns out the attachment on this post was apparently infected, although whether it actually was I couldn't say. It could just be that it behaved in a way that was considered suspicious. Either way, I've deleted it, and will try to persuade Google that it's all fine now...

I just opened tt-forums in Chrome for the first time. After login, I posted this topic without any problem.

Same here, Firefox doesn't display avatars. And trying to open Pilot's attachment above produced dire warnings.

Google pretty much labels any program that can modify another actively running program as suspicious malware.
