@Zakos: As for using road vehicles only, I tried that years ago, didn't work, the game became to boring. Still, if we don't try these things for ourselves we never really know.

Nice pics and town layouts though.

Looks very nice to me, even though I never played Locomotion.

I was wondering about the shots at http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php? ... 8#p1141558 why are there the huge curves in the tracks (3rd picture in particular). Is that by design or did it just happen?
Being a OpenTTD developer does not mean I know what I am doing.
Also, other OpenTTD developers may have different opinions.

The second I saw the post saying you were doing a Megapack-infused Oil Oasis the only thing I could think to myself is "This guy is a genius"
I'm loving the screenshots keep them coming!

I'm looking forward to seeing some more of these screenshots. Don't be surprised if you see my own Oil Oasis screenshots popping up in the screenshots thread in the not too distant future. :D

If you are having fun doing that, you should   . If not, or if you think it's dated then you shouldn't. You play the game of course mostly for your own fun, and if we have the pleasure of viewing your work that's totaly up to you mate :!:

Let's see what you've got

Nice screenshots Zakos ! I didn't really played a lot with the Lake District (always sticked to the Serpent somehow), but maybe I give it a shot as well. I still would like to try out my banned NAM project on that scenario as it has a lot of potential (like all of Zimmlock's scenarios  ). When I'm working on it I will post a few screenshots as well in my own screenshot-topic

Impressive screenshots...You put a lot of work into it. You work a lot faster then I am. I never noticed that this was the original automod, but I don't see any car-dealers in the city. Aren't they build yet, or can they be demolished by the player or the city ? I'm trying to work on the xml-file for the dealers to make them pop-up more frequently in the town and some can't be demolished...

Maybe you should post a video on youtube with your work ?

Sameway I play with my automod on the Serpent. Only one of the needed industries (carfactory, partsfactory etc...), it will keep the game tense and difficult  At the moment only latex, oil and chemicals are transported, but I'm working on my large network in the background before all of the other cargo's can be transported...

Also a nice oldie...Wich RCT do you play, 1, 2, 3, 4 or the newest edition RCT World ? For myself I prefer RCT2 with all of it's expansionpacks. I made a few scenarios for the game, most people know my Titanic-scenario for RCT2. It's not that I play the game on a daily base anymore as it is the same as with Locomotion, but when I do I still enjoy every minute of gameplay that I can get
