WRT using GIFS in this competition I have a proposed rule change due to the increasing popularity of them on the forums:

GIFS can only be entered if a theme of 'GIFS' or 'GIFS on a theme of x' is chosen by the previous monthly winner. If this is the case I will still accept regular screenshots towards these themes. If GIFS are not directly announced in the theme - or the moderator is not informed they are allowed - then they will be disallowed on a month-by-month basis.

Thoughts are welcome.

October SOTM has now shut. Voting is now open. Here, in alphabetical order, are the screenshots for Terminus Stations:

Emperor Jake

The terminus at Tyk, the largest city on Tiger Island. The trans-island mainline begins here and continues along the length of the island, passing through the capital Tujakat and other cities on its way to Tigersville in the south. A metro line continues east across the river while the mainline goes south, soon splitting into some local lines and a high speed mainline.

Platform 1 hosts the single deck metro terminating at Tyk Starport; Platform 2 hosts the double deck metro to the eastern suburb of Thunder. A local mail train pulls into Platform 4 and a local DMU loads at Platform 5. An intercity to Tujakat waits in Platform 6 for the high speed service to Tiger Desert City to clear the track. Meanwhile, the local river ferry is about to dock and buses going to various destinations in town wait at the interchange.

In and at the terminus station of Brno in Czechoslovakia of 1937, one can see (from left to right) three trams, a newer fast stopping train, a local train, an older fast stopping train and an express train. The maximum speeds varies within 25 and 110 km/h. The darker tracks allow a maximum speed of 80 km/h, the other of 124 km/h. One can also see the two railway depots, one tram depot, two churches etc. etc.

Stuttgart Main Station was built from 1914 to 1928. The old building (called Bonatzbau) has three parts. The Main Hall with the tower (and it's silver Mercedes-Star) and the two side buildings (which were demolished since 2010). Next to it, you can see the central bus hub and the Schlosspark in the bottom right corner. At the north entrance, where some people are demonstrating against Stuttgart 21, the Landesbank Baden-Württemberg has its main building. From there it's just a small walk to the new Shopping Centre Milaneo. At the south end, you can see the first buildings of the "Königstraße", the main street with many shops and big offices.
