10 October 1926 there was a collapse of the Earth around the mine for the extraction of iron ore. This was due to the increase in the extraction of minerals, the earth was formed voids. Thus, there was a collapse of land near the station, which threatened the movement of freight trains. It was decided to evacuate the workers from the mine in case of further collapse. But nothing happened, the collapse is over in a few hours. The coastal area around the mine has been restored cargo ship and the mine workers.

Heavy overnight snow has caused chaos at Emerald Lake ski hill. The main gondola has buckled under the weight of the snow and has given way. Fire crews and police are already on the scene and have begun rescuing skiers from gondola cabins still stranded in the air. The mid-mountain lodge is being used to airlift the injured to local hospitals. Due to the difficulty of the terrain piste grooming vehicles are proving critical in the rescue operation. Skiers stranded at the top of the mountain are made to use the one remaining open run on the far left to ski to safety.

Considering the sudden onset of the effects of global warming, the engineer, conductor and chef began to regret all those bowls of sharkfin soup they served from the dining car on Chinese New Year.

In August 2002 the weather in Mid-Europe brought a high amount of rain. Small rivulets changed to uncontrolled torrents. The town of Dresden got flooded and havily damaged. Even some trams and trains didn't have the chance to drive to a level above the water level... Wow, what creative minds! I mean everybody just about had the same idea, but how each person managed to uniquely express those similar themes is just awesome!

All screenshots are incredibly cool. Well done all participants. I honestly did not expect such a large number. Great.

I'll give a vote for the screenshot ISA :) . Although it is very difficult to make a choice for me.

And the photo on the screenshot Shields53 me too much surprised 8o .

Dawlish was indeed the inspiration.

Got to say that I though arikover and Yoshi's were amazing though.

This competition is getting better and better!! Well done to all participants!

Was very difficult to make a choice, Wallywebs comment was one of the funniest I ever read, Yoshi's muddy water is unbelievable (would be nice to have those ingame), but I chose Shields!
But all others were very close runners up, especially Alluke's one!

Yay, I got a vote this time! I see others had the idea of an avalanche; I was going to do a volcano originally, but I couldn't get it to look right.

Also, great effort everyone, especially Yoshi :)

Indeed, congratulations.

I am trying to catch up on the SotM wiki. The leaderboard is now correct as of September 2015 and I have begun the long hard slog through each month that Kamnet so kindly started. If anyone wants to keep this process going on the page then feel free

Yeah, I should have done a better job of keeping this up. I'm sorry.

And congratulations to Yoshi. The recoloring of the water and the flooding of the buildings was a masterful stroke of art.
