Romanian Town Names grf

Post by ColdIce »

Hy,
Because in-game Romanian town names didn't provide enough city names, I created a nml file with 319 romanian city names. I didn't understant from NML Tutorial how to create from 0, so i took a nml file from http://dev.openttdcoop.org/projects/dut ... repository and modified the nml. I want to know if the file is ok to compile, before I go to http://www.tt-wiki.net/wiki/NMLTutorial ... on#Windows and try all the steps. Thank you

LE: I get this error

C:\nml>nmlc -c --grf ronames.grf ronames.nml
←[K←[33m nmlc warning: Default language file "lang\english.lng" doesn't exist←[0
m
←[Knmlc ERROR: "ronames.nml", line 7: Unknown string "STR_GRF_NAME"

LE: See http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php? ... 1#p1150141 for grf

You also need the lang file (like the error indicates). You find it in the lang folder at the link you provided. Preferentially just checkout the whole source (all files in that repo) instead of only the main source file and it should compile just fine.
