Even though I do not really play with PKP set (though I might add it on our servers occassionally), I really like what you are doing here. Not only it looks really good, but also you are doing something else than everybody else. Good stuff.

And what mail/luggage van is? AFAIR mail van and luggage van are different. Mail van is a post office in van, while luggage van is similar to boxcar.

Mail/luggage van is a combined car dedicated for local trains. It contains two compartments - the first contains post office and the second is used to transport luggage. Both parts are separated and need own crew:

The other combined car in PKP Set is passenger/luggage coach. It contains passenger section (4 compartments) and additional big compartment to transport luggage. In modern times this luggage part is often modernized to transport bicycles:

The next improvement phase of PKP Set. :) I implemented the wide group of luggage vans. Luggage vans are intended to transport quickly a small amount of goods using passenger trains. It should be good way to stimulate towns to grow. Below you can see all implemented luggage vans for all eras.

Now I plan to add restaurant coaches to the PKP Set. Designed restaurant car will have no capacity. It will generate only running costs. But it will improve cargo_age_period for all express coaches in the consist. It will generate higher income rate for long distance trains.

Now I'm working on ZOOM_X2 sprites for Ty23. Ty23 is one of the most powerful polish steam locomotives and the only one with Belpaire furnace.

Newer version of PKP Set is almost done. :)
I would like to ask translators for complete translations available on https://translator.openttdcoop.org/project/pkpset . It would be nice to publish this trainset with full language support.

Due to major bugs found in 2.0.12 version, I decided to publish quick update with number 2.0.13.
Update is definitely recommended!

Hi,

I'm comparing the Container wagon (Sgs) with the Intermodal wagon (Sdgmnss). The Sdgmnss comes out later (I think), is slightly faster, costs more, has higher running cost, and weighs less than the Sgs, but its capacity is only about half of the Sgs--I believe this is a bug. I think the way the bug came about is that the Sdgmnss is refittable to mail, whereas the Sgs is not. The capacity for mail is 118 bags, but for all other cargo it's only 59 tons. If it carried the other cargo at a capacity of 118 tons, then it would be more in line with the Sgs, which has a capacity of 116.

I have attached a picture that I hope illustrates the situation. If you're still around, then thanks for the newgrf!
