Indeed I am. The Orange, Red and Yellow Stars came with another mod, but the Red was too pinky and the Orange too bright. I also decided they needed proper names, and added the A and B types to round them out (the only other major class is the Class O Star, but they are basically just Class As but MUCH bigger, so, not a lot of need for them. Ditto Dwarf Stars. Just the same but smaller and darker. From a graphics perspective, not required.)

The "Stellar Magnetic Field" and "Solar Corona" objects you can see mentioned on those screenshots are barely visible fields that slow a ship (magnetic field) and gradually erode shields and hull (corona). I made them visible on the minimap with red and green fields showing. Helps to add some realism to getting to close to a star.

No I don't. And I am sorry, but I don't want to install new software just because of this game. But I started to play again and I can't go further even with this working!

This is the mighty empire of Great Britain in the year 1607. Red is controlled directly by the crown, green is controlled by colonial governors (Thirteen Colonies, English Mexico, Louisiana, English West Indies, etc.) or by vassals (Portugal, Granada). I haven't a clue who colonised South Africa but it wasn't me.

Indeed. Once France was integrated, the game was really easy. Finances was no issue whatsoever and I could fund several rather large wars in succession.

Well.. It's an interesting but undeveloped option. The maps they generate are really not all that.. detailed. Lots of round shapes, insane sea zones and gamebreaking land zones. Not to mention I have encountered land masses with a blue hue over them. They are considered sea provinces so are un-negotiable by troops. However, since they aren't really a sea province, they also cannot be patrolled by ships. No, the random new world is not a good option yet. Although I love the idea of it.

EDIT: Here are two games with random new worlds. The maps look OK.

Turkey and Brittany/France. The Turkish map is a mess though. The north-eastern continent can be crossed with ships by the smaller strip of land since the same sea province covers both sides.

BUG!
After having played the game for a few days, here's my analysis:

Apparently the Russian planes like Catalina are made out of Stalinium and can't be destroyed by conventional means. Ramming them is the only way to be sure... aaaand actually, it's not. Sometimes they survive even that, so it's a good idea to carpet bomb them beforehand.

Unfortunately, crude Stalinium wing structure is no match for ancient Japanese plane wings, traditionally slow-forged out of finest tamahagane steel for centuries, as per the prophecy of the great war in which brave warriors would lead their metal birds to the battle, kept in utmost secrecy until the right time.

Basically what we see here is the clash of the titans, the materialized willpower of Joseph Stalin against absolutely perfect combination of iron, carbon and oxygen on atomic level interwoven with the spirits of the greatest Japanese swordsmiths of 2nd millennium.

Someone should really tell Gaijin that Japanese aircraft are actually made out of paper and that Russian wood is just as flamable and fragile as any other.
Actually Japanese aircraft aren't made of paper - Japanese aircraft were all-metal before many allied ones were, and were also very light and not all that fast....In terms of force-loading on a Zero, it's actually structurally stronger than most US aircraft of the early war.

People assume Japanese planes are fragile because they didn't have self-sealing fuel tanks and used to catch fire easily, but in War Thunder they're usually only carrying a very small load. Besides which, they don't tend to take many hits in game... the tricky part is hitting them. Late-war Japanese planes aren't actually much more lightly armoured than US ones.

And Russian wood IS less flammable and less fragile than other wood. It was actually a wood-laminate "alloy" for want of a better word: essentially wood treated with a special kind of plastic which made it stronger, non-combustable, stronger and rot-proof.

A Battle Goddess VERITA sunset. Simply beautiful pixels. ;) Probably my favorite jRPG series by now. It's fun playing a guy stuck in the body of an immortal goddess ... plot so far spans something like 800 years or so. ^^;

Well, tis a Churchill Mk.IV I believe, your main problem is that you will pretty much always be significantly outgunned. Good as the 6pdr is for a gun of it's class (better than the QF 75mm armour penetration wise) it will always be outclassed by larger calibre German guns.

It's the Churchill III. For its tier, it's got above average armor, the gun has low damage, but decent penetration, and an amazing rate of fire. I love it. Sometimes I get destroyed quite quickly, sometimes I got over 5 kills on my record. I'm not playing very strategic. I just love to drive and shoot and get in some action :)

I just started playing this too. Here's my mediocre town. We struggled with population for a while but upon tearing down many parts of the town center, moving orchards and farmland further out to make room for houses, we boomed. I am now struggling to provide food at the same rate the town grows.
