Bribe Option won't work

Hi everybody!

After many years without TT i stumbledm over it again and over ttdpatch as well. Heres my problem: While the patch overall seem to work perfectly the "bribe" option won't.
"bribe=1" ist set at the ttdpatch.cfg but when I enter the local authority menu i just find the standart "advertisment campain" and "repair roads" items to click on. I'm using the german version of ttd. The "More Town Statistics" Option works OK.

I've tried to build a station in the city i try to bride, but still no chance. Is this option only acessable from a certain year on? Or am I missing something else?

You only get this option if you have enough money. For large cities with bad service (no transport of passengers or mail), a bribe can be very expensive.

Maybe you don't have enough money, therefore some expensive options are not appearing.
