Question about the new theme though. What exactly is "suburban"?

The outer areas surrounding a city. A city is urban and it is surrounded by suburbs which are usually residential communities whose residents commute to work in the city. They are also often referred to as bedroom communities. 8)

Similar to what Wally said. My thoughts on suburbs would be little or no skyscrapers, some green areas or countryside with residential houses. WRT to transport, perhaps smaller, through stations as opposed to the larger terminus stations of the inner city.

The rules about sticking to the topic aren't hugely strict - if people don't think it fits the topic then they may not vote for it!

The scene is inspired by the station of Karlsruhe-Durlach in Germany. The big street with the tram tracks from the south west comes from the city of Karlsruhe. Here at Durlach, some trams are switching to the railway and running beyond the outer parts of the city as a Regio-Tram.
