Expresso's screenshots

Post by Expresso »

Hi, me and a friend have been playing this game for a while now, so here are some screenshots.

Hope you like them.

Over here a lot of wood trains have to deal with 2 tracks becoming one, so a shunt yard was needed in order to prevent them from clobbering the back-bone.

Nice cities indeed! This shot does however also show the one thing about long-run games that I don't like: total invasion of trees!
I would certainly agree with Kamnet that the bay looks great but would be even better with some harbor eye candy. Allthough I also sometimes like to play a game and just build some nice tracks/network without putting time/resources into eyecandy

Don't get me wrong you do not HAVE to add eyecandy! there are lots of people that like playing without adding a lot of it, as it takes time and is not really functional. I also like to see just some nice networks once in a while. I also play different types of games, sometimes with lots of extra stuff, and sometimes only high-flow networks.

In short don't refrain from posting just because it does not contain 'eyecandy'

New game, new company. This time I'm playing alone.

John Smith is a monopolist who likes to manipulate the law into his liking. He managed to get a subsidy from the state and has a permit to bulldoze everything he likes... and he does as he sees fit without caring for the local authorities.

He also develops the cities he has connected to his transport network, so he can rake in more profits.

In the year 2100 Smith Logistics started developing Binkyburg, Flippetyworth and Cheesebottom. Trams were added to connect the towns and the result is visible in 2102. There are plans to add a train station to Binkyburg.

Drogsdrecht has grown a lot and as a result got more stations. Also, Drogsdrecht Transfer has been renamed to Drogsdrecht Junction, has been moved and got a new station hall on top of it where people can shop.

I have changed the compangy name to "The Connected Country". Also, the previous president retired due to old age and a new one has been appointed by the board. Mr. Goverts does an excellent job of developing the network.

Since TCC has added Drogenschede to the network, the city has grown quite a bit. Drogenschede Central has become an important hub in the network of The Connected Country.

The junction to the south of Drogsdrecht Junction became a problem and needed a renovation. It is hoped that after this renovation the connection to Tilwijk and Oost Kollumorade needs no more future renovations.
