Let's not freeze, despite that. Coders for this set can be found.

Well, the most important thing now is the base tiles, so that we can put some stuff on test.

And other stuff that we could make, is on my mind:
http://vaunut.org/kuva/12661
http://vaunut.org/kuva/7177
http://vaunut.org/kuva/20921
http://vaunut.org/kuva/1516
(Recently ended gasoline-and diesel traffic on two locations here, Kelloniemi (-2010) and Kumpusaari (-2011)

We could make sprites from those loading/unloading stuff, when the snow is melting, i will go and take better photographs of those and put them on my gallery...

And also:

http://vaunut.org/kuva/49572
We could make also sprites from Kinahmi quarz-sand loading place, also that traffic has recently ended, it was serviced with Dv12 and Tad's.. http://vaunut.org/kuva/56654
Also, i have here some futher details here:
http://oskari89.1g.fi/kuvat/FTRS/Kinahmi/

It would serve very well to load from ECS sand pit :)

It's been 3 years since the last post. Who's the "we" you're referring to? I apologize for being sceptic, but it looks to me your post summarizes into "I'll provide you with pictures and idea, you get the actual work done, ok?". So, what's your role in this team you call "we"?

I'm just providing the ideas and pictures for them who want to draw, and when i'm motivated, i'll do some sprites and post them. I think this thread is for that purpose? I don't force people to draw.

I refer to "we" as generally people who have already drawn something for this set.

Now i've done some base tiles, and partly they are from ISR set, used with permissions. Gravel base tile was maybe hardest, i've done four versions for that.

Hmm, i decided to change the asphalt a little. Which one of these included is best?
EDIT: Also, concrete, which one of those is best?
EDIT2: Kinahmi's sand loading sprites could be well modified from this iron ore station of IRS.
And also, are transition tiles needed, such as in Dirt? On the other hand, there's very much of transition tiles if every type is included.

Darker with lighter texture for asphalt and sand + lighter ash for gravel looks best IMO :)

Agreed. Those look best to me as well.

I must say that I very much like the worn look of the iron ore buildings. Nice!

Basic gravel with little sand or sand with lighter ash; also textured concrete. But your asphalt needs more texture, IMO. I only spent a few minutes on this so you could probably do better, but this is more how I would do it:

Okay. I'll copy that sprite to the asphalt... I think these are on quite acceptable level. Anything else? I think all transition tiles are a little overkill, at least yet.

EDIT: Kumpusaari and Kelloniemi fuel oil/petrol unloading points (currently unused) are now documented here:
http://oskari89.1g.fi/kuvat/FTRS/Kumpusaari/
and here:
http://oskari89.1g.fi/kuvat/FTRS/Kelloniemi/
I think if those would be animated (filling pipes and walking bridges turned to the top of wagons), that would be nice to have on place where there is unloading of oil or fuel oil or petrol.

There is three types of those, Kumpusaari has a small one, and Kelloniemi has two types, petrol: http://oskari89.1g.fi/kuvat/FTRS/Kellon ... G_8807.JPG
and fuel oil: http://oskari89.1g.fi/kuvat/FTRS/Kellon ... G_8824.JPG

EDIT2: Updated these base tiles to tracking tables.

EDIT3: Planned to include on Finnish Stations Set Taster:

-Kauppilanmäki and Riippa stations with all base tiles
-Airaksela/Iloharju, Markkala, Taipale, Suonenjoki, Karhukangas/Matkaneva and Siilinjärvi interlocking buildings with all base tiles
-General RHK interlocking container, 2 versions
-Pieksämäki CTC tower
-Base tiles, including asphalt, gravel, sand, concrete and dirt (dirt with transition tiles)

Later: Sukeva, Kokkola and Iisalmi stations, and all the rest when drawing progresses.

Double post. Two station buildings, signal equipment containers and all six of interlocking buildings have now been placed on base tiles. :)

Much better now. All them are now on tracking table, but i'll post some of them here too. I think if someone could code those, we could have a taster of Stations Set :)

I think these could be initially coded as NewObjects, reducing the headache of coder.

EDIT: Update to both sets to 0.56, one bug removed, and buglist on place.
EDIT2: Downloads updated on homepage. And proper sound listing and configurations are available on tracking table.

Sukeva looks pretty small, imo it would be better as 1x2.

It's size was already increased at one point. It is really that size, when compared to others.

Thanks, i'll put it under base tiles, and Iisalmi too :) -> Done

I just cant do but admire your drawing skills, johannes.. :D These just look purrrrrfect when placed on base tiles. I put them only on asphalt base, since these are larger stations and in reality, have had asphalt under them for long time. Maybe later also to gravel bases, if they are wanted.

I've now restructured my graphics gallery ( http://oskari89.1g.fi/kuvat/FTRS/ ), and made it more accessible to the drawers. Helps my and the other's work for finding the source materials.

I moved everything from large folders to smaller folders which have names from the station which they are photographed, and my next job is direct-linking the folders to tracking tables, making them even more accessible. :) And few more stations are going to be added on tracking tables.
