I've been trying to beat North America (midwest) - 100 year challenge, but the game has slowed down to a snails pace. At twenty years I have a 82 percent rating. I know that I'm on track to beating the level but at 40 trains every day is taking 10 to 20 seconds. Has anyone here had this problem? Do you all have any ideas? I was able to pass the previous 100 year challenge by the skin of my teeth.

I'm not sure I understand the question.
I can definitely tell you that the initial rise in performance index is always high. In fact, pay attention to the objectives of the expert-level scenarios; some of them require an 80% rating in 20 years.
It will slow down, but you have to be consistent. The real difficulty isn't in starting the company. The difficulty is keeping the company successful for an entire century of business.
