Replace standard road and tram track sprites
Hello, I am slowly beginning to put some ideas together for some new NewGRF. I've been reading the NML documentation and I haven't found anything related to replacing a road or tram track tile with new sprites, like TTRS and North American Road Set do. Is there somewhere with this info?

Re: Replace standard road and tram track sprites
Roads are standard baseset sprites and simply are replaced (by the replace command). The tram track sprites are sprites introduced in OpenTTD to the base sets, thus are replaced by the replacenew command.
See http://newgrf-specs.tt-wiki.net/wiki/NM ... TD_sprites and http://newgrf-specs.tt-wiki.net/wiki/NM ... ew_sprites and opengfx+landscape for sprite numbers and a NewGRF implementation (though it doesn't replace tram tracks).
