Nice!!
The offsets of the mouse-pointer do need some getting used to by the player though... I tend to click on the button next to the one I would like to hit now
So I wonder if the two black stripes are really necessary...

Re: Flumes!
What fun! This is the best use of NRT since Andrew's conveyor belts!
At the risk of confusing people even more about what OpenTTD is about, this brings us within sight of building an amusement park log flume ride.
I am getting some clipping, seen here, and the logs also make electric sparks when driving uphill.

Re: Flumes!
The log ride was definitely considered - but the belt 'lift hill' and closed circuit was just a little too different from what I wanted to explore with this.2TallTyler wrote: ↑01 Apr 2021 15:08 What fun! This is the best use of NRT since Andrew's conveyor belts!

The clipping is a known issue caused by how OpenTTD chops up 'rear' catenary sprites for roadtypes to separate out 'posts'. Believe me, before Frosch did serious work to implement that, it was much worse!
I gave the logs the spark effect wondering if it might look like a splash - it didn't, but it did look so ridiculous I decided to keep it in!

Re: Flumes!
Actually I thought those were splashes. I got to say, I do like this set. I like to start games in the 19th century, and I found this set handy. As I like using NARS2 (I also like the regearing feature. What can I say? I'm an oddball!) I think log flumes go well with 19th century trains. Now we need old style sawmills, with the derricks, steam cranes, giant stacks of logs, worker camps, maybe as an object set, and we could have nice old time logging operations going.

Re: Flumes!
I'm really enjoying this set. The choices you made for loaded logs to slow down on level flume, and accelerate on downhill sections, really makes for an interesting challenge trying to stretch out the vertical drop to maintain speed. I also try to avoid too much downhill at once, lest the logs go too fast.
(logs are coming from the Logging Camp despite it looking like a Sawmill, and going downhill...working on a new industry set. )

Re: Flumes!
Logs only appear as a log when loaded. When empty, they're just water.
