Could you add the "Basic Road" to the non RATT version, as a replacement for the standard road.

Could I request a couple of changes?
  • Don't overwrite the default roads-with-pavements, as this affects other road types.
  • Don't change graphics based on year, it gets very ugly in 1932! If it's a different type of road, it should just be a new road type. You do at least have up to 63 types now, which helps.
He's like, some kind of OpenTTD developer.

You cannot be serious. This is why GPL v2 is a good idea. Now your GRF's code is gone forever!
Licenses for my work...
You automatically have my permission to re-license graphics or code by me if needed for use in any project that is not GPL v2, on the condition that if you release any derivatives of my graphics they're automatically considered as ALSO GPL v2 (code may remain unreleased, but please do provide it) and carry this provision in GPL v2 uses.
Please ask someone in-the-know to be sure that the graphics are done by me. Especially TTD-Scale, long story.

A GPL license won't prevent your computer from dying ;) And, just to be clear, there is no requirement in the GPL to keep the sources public at all times, the minimum requirement is that you provide the source upon request :)

On that note, at least some of this set must be GPL licensed due to the use of GPL graphics, but without a license statement anywhere it is maybe unclear. Would you mind adding one to the first post ufiby?

My advice: back up your code somewhere else besides your computer. I personally use Google Drive and I sync it with multiple computers so that I have my development available anywhere I want to use it. But even backing it up someplace like Github, or even just posting your code here in the forums, would be a good way to preserve it.

Fair enough. I keep a backup of my files, not sure why it didn't occur to me to suggest that.

Nightly. Not "night". The nightly version has support for the NewGRF you want to use.

If you download a nightly version of openttd you download a separate version of it. To use it you need to unzip or extract the contents to a separate folder. The OpenTTD.exe file in the new folder should contain the features that you are looking for
No pics no clicks. Seriously.

Я проверил, и вы лицензировали свои дороги как GPL v2. Могу ли я получить копию источника NML? Заранее спасибо!
Мой компьютер переключился на новый, К сожалению, мои коды и NML потеряны. :(
Do I have a save sample of how to create NML

Hello!
I have a question. What are your plans about roads in the town zone?
Image
:?:

spriteset(field_underlay_1, "gfx/FIELD.png") {
tmpl_underlay_roadtypes(0)
}
spriteset(field_underlay_2, "gfx/FIELD.png") {
tmpl_underlay_roadtypes(80)
}
switch(FEAT_ROADTYPES, SELF, switch_field_underlay, town_zone) {
4: field_underlay_2;
3: field_underlay_2;
2: field_underlay_2;
1: field_underlay_2;
default: field_underlay_1;
}
