A quick NewGRF that adds 6 waypoints:
Basic Dutch stations Platform (both sides)
Basic Dutch stations Platform (back)
Basic Dutch stations Platform (front)
Basic Dutch stations Platform, overlaps one tile to the south (both sides)
Basic Dutch stations Platform, overlaps one tile to the south (back)
Basic Dutch stations Platform, overlaps one tile to the south (front)
A signal can be placed on the overlapping tile to split platforms at stations.
Not able to BaNaNaS it seems at the moment (website keeps telling me an unhandled exception was thrown by the application) but this grf is released under GNU GPL v2.
The gfx are from Dutch stations itself (viewtopic.php?f=26&t=23638)
I'm probably not going to come back to this, unless there are catastrophic problems.
p.s. I do not promise the non-glitchyness of the overlapping waypoint tiles

Not a bad idea having platforms as Waypoints, especially if want a certain train to use a certain platform.
I did some overlap platforms early too as they good for placing switchers along platforms and look good with the "[patch] Realistic Train Shunting".

Can I request to have more types of stations as way-points, like 3 tile long ones or ones with roofs? Thank you
