It'd be good to do it in OpenTTD.

I'd also have loved to live in the 80s in Paris (i live in Paris, but i was born in 1990 ;) ) to see the wine trains of Bercy. I may code a railtype like Aegir's, but sadly i didn't find much tutorials on how to create railtypes.

Dragonfly Ornithopter

A quirky little VTOL aircraft by oftcrash which flashes orange as it flies! Unfortunately not compatible with the VTOL Aircraft GRF as it shares the same GRFid (though you should definitely check that out as well).

Strange New Worlds

A couple of test GRFs by George, found in the depths of the Japan Set Development topic. Technically these are called "Tropic to Japan conversion" though I don't know what part of Japan they were meant to represent! I kinda like the purple landscape though...

A selection of German road vehicles and trams in 2CC by Uwe and others. Mostly passenger vehicles but also includes three cargo trams (not shown in the screenshots).

Levelled Water

Concept GRF by lepkka with flattened coastlines. It's a bit glitchy but an interesting idea.

Proving just how fragile OpenTTD's perspective is.

Looks like an optical illusion straight from a museum with the foundations.

Oops! The Ornithopter was a little test run as I built the rest of the VTOLs. I should have either separated it out properly or included it in VACE I guess. If I can get my old computer up and running I'll see if I can fix it, though at this point that's looking a bit grim.

The files that OzTrans uploaded to Bananas were intentionally poisoned so that they didn't work properly, so that people would stop playing with his sets.

It's not a palette issue...

There are a few earlier versions available, try North American City Set v0.1c or Aegir's original North American Building Set.

Yeah, he was rather upset with the devs and the community, unfortunately. Would be a welcome site to see him back again, though.
