Currently implementing the option to have RIMS in 2CC.
So look forward to that.

Now all I need to do is add wagons for the Linimo and the Chinese low-speed maglevs and I can officially say that there is no reason to ever use MMT instead of RIMS.

Sidenote; China will soon (next year or something) open a new maglev line with a new maglev train, so when that comes out I'll add it to RIMS.

Version 1.4 has been up for a few days now, as I managed to rename RIMS on BaNaNaS to "Real International Maglev Set". So now we jump straight to 1.4.1.
Also, the Maglev Track Set v2 has been released, with all new graphics, custom tunnel portals and more. Check it out!

1.4.1:

Changed: Tweaked the alignments.
Changed: Fixed headlights of M-Bahn being on in either direction.
Changed: Switched the order of the Passenger and Mail cars of the SC-Maglev.
Changed: SC-Maglev trains now have a lower mass.
Renamed: Renamed MLX wagons to SC-Maglev wagons.
Changed: SC-Maglev wagons can be used to add wagons to the MLX and the L0 Shinkansen.
Disabled: L0 Shinkansen wagons (does not break old saves.)

I've noticed an issue: When the upkeep costs are set to 4x the cost of the MLX01-901 and L0 Series Shinkansen engines goes down to only around $2-6k.

I Image RIMS, it's very nice in my games!

But I also noticed: In my new game, starting in 1875, there is before the year 1900 already Chinese maglev... Maybe a bit too early..? It's not a fast maglev, but before 1900 is a bit unlikely, as far as I know.
Keep it up, RIMS is really nice!

Oh boy, that's not right. I'll have it fixed ASAP.

Thanks. I cannot reproduce the bug you're reporting. Not in RIMS, not in MMT, and also not in MTS v1 or v2. Could you try and reproduce it in a clean install of vanilla OpenTTD with only RIMS?

That is Modern Maglev Trains. Iirc I specifically asked not to report bugs anymore. It is no longer being maintained, please use RIMS instead.

This update just tweaks some stuff on the codeside, related to how the cost parameter works, because I noticed that it was not working properly. If you have it set to x1.25 or higher, expect it to increase. My apologies for any inconvenience this has caused.
By popular request, RIMS now only disables basegame maglev, all other trains will now be available, unless another GRF disables them.
And last but not least, I added something I wanted to add since December 2017, but just never got around to; Linimo liveries.

A quick fix. Apparently you couldn't connect multiple M-bahn vehicles. My bad. With the new maglev line in Qingyuan slated to open later this year, I am planning on adding a new train to RIMS soon-ish. Which makes me realise how much FRIMS suffers from the Tomorrowland problem, where the problem with portraying the world of tomorrow, is that tomorrow will eventually come to pass. See also the Dutch Trainset's "super futuristic trains" to be released next year.

I know it's probably frustrating from the project manager and developer end, but from the player's end I don't see that as a problem, moving them from one set to another.

The set works Perfectly! I started playing OpenTDD in 2030! :D Good thing it has coal car because there were no diesel loco's that late! 8)
