I could probably add that to the next version.

Any chance of a finescale version of this? I like this set, but I use finescale tracks, so the width of the available options means they look off when used alongside finescale tracks.

Also, maybe having a non-ballast version would be cool, so it's just the tracks, as seen with ISR's marshalling yard tiles?

Either way, great work on the set so far!

Check the parameters, you can use JapanSet , JapanSet Finescale, and DPRK Tracks. The dual gauge tracks are from Jake's addon, which required me to add finescale, because otherwise the dual gauge wouldn't look too good.

I'll put ballastless on the todo list, but I would probably add it as another track variant. I can't promise you I'll update it again in 2021 but I won't promise you that either.

I've tried that, but it doesn't quite work out nicely:

Ah UK finescale. Can't use it due to licensing, so there's nothing I can do.

Hmm... I think I've successfully modified it to have a parameter for only dual gauge, but I don't know for sure because it won't compile...

Any advice? Should I just wait for you to update it, or do you expect to be busy long enough that my tinkering isn't pointless? Thanks for providing the source, I learned a bit about making if statements, even if it was all for naught.

If you want you could use SUKTS finescale graphics instead to at least supplement the lack of UK finescale stuff. It will be licenced under GPLv2 so idm you using it. Bare in mind it isn't released yet tho lol.

I really want to do some stuff with OpenGFX Mars but I can't not have eyecandy, so I made this.
I'm aware that there's a similar NewGRF on BaNaNaS, but it only has houses and for some reason it's year dependent. I don't understand year dependent objects, it's dumb.

All houses and industry tiles have been translated into object tiles. I might make some new object tiles, but currently there's pretty much no original tiles.

Hello,

There's a problem with the Industrial Trackset - I'd like to use it with Finescale (UKRS rails), with the setting for multi-gauge compatibility on (= rails are considered as standard and narrow gauge. It allows, for example, to use JapanSet trains alongside Dutch Trainset trains, without having to use multiple gauges.
It works fine when I only use Finescale and standard-gauge rail sets with the Japan Set, but once I load ITS, no matter what gauge I define the rails, it creates at least two more track types (exactly like the "standard" rails). Is there a way to fix this ?

A little suggestion, maybe add a third parameter with completely invisible tramtracks.
That way you can overlay all kinds of roads that most likely wouldnt look good with bike-paths.
For example you could get this, overlayed on dirtroad:
Example648.png
Example648.png (50.43 KiB) Viewed 12814 times
Off road mountainbikers ;-)

But you could then use that also to add other "vehicles" like (groups of) moving people or taxi-ing aircraft, or other (slow-moving) eyecandy stuff that you would definitely not want to be able to move into the busy roads that you are using for actual gameplay (having them on tramtracks makes sure of that).
I am already planning to make a couple for my personal games, if you are interested, I could place the sources here (or PM them), so you can incorporate them into your GRF.
