The Urban Transit Bridge has an amazing maximum speed of 80 mph (130 km/h). :D
if used Pipeline also has the limte 80 mph (130 km / h)?
Considering that very high speeds will

As far as I know the bridge maximum speed prevails. I do not know if railtypes override this. Has anybody documented this?

Without having looked at the code, I would expect that the speed is the minimum of both.

You'd intuitively expect a slow train to keep its slow pace at a 'fast' bridge, and a fast train to slow down at a bridge that cannot handle the fast speed.
Being a retired OpenTTD developer does not mean I know what I am doing.

Allow me to rephrase the question ...
If I lay a 140 k/hr railtype across a 80 k/hr bridge, does the railtype lose its maximum to the bridge, or does the bridge lose its maximum to the railtype?

As Alberth said, the lowest speed of the two is applied, therefore 140km/h rail on 80km/h bridge will be limited to 80km/h, much the same as the speed of a train is limited by the speed of the slowest engine or wagon in the consist
