1. Build the station (Always 2 x 5)
2. Add the add-ons to either or both ends of the station. (2 x 1,2,3 or 4)

Thanks, I managed to build it. Does it expire in the 1960's because it is year 1965 in the game I am playing and I cannot build it.wallyweb wrote:Actually, Bamberg is probably the easiest to build.Morgs wrote:... how to build the complex stations like the Bamberg.

Indeed ... an undocumented (not in donotreadme) expiry date = 1960.Morgs wrote:Thanks, I managed to build it. NewStations does use introduction dates, but there are no expiry dates. That restriction for Bamberg sneaked in unattended and should have been removed in v0.51. However, it had yet again forgotten about, and should have been removed in v0.52. Now, when 0.52 turned into 0.6, you´ll have to wait a bit longer.Supercheese wrote: Or better yet, (via parameter or otherwise) disable the date restrictions.
All of us will be checking. ...michael blunck wrote:That restriction for Bamberg sneaked in unattended and should have been removed in v0.51. However, it had yet again forgotten about, and should have been removed in v0.52. Now, when 0.52 turned into 0.6, you´ll have to wait a bit longer.
It's for simulating stations that have one long platform face, but signalled such that it can be used as two terminating platforms. From a gameplay perspective, it's equivalent to a buffer stop.Morgs wrote:Got another question: What is the separating track tile do and how to use?
Can you post a picture example of this?FLHerne wrote:It's for simulating stations that have one long platform face, but signalled such that it can be used as two terminating platforms. Nice picture, I really forgot about your interesting web site during the last year. Have to visit it more often now.Benbe wrote: You can see such signals in modern version here: [...]

Please don't forget a tile without a (visible) platform. While the buffers respond to the adjacent station tile, the separating track don't.michael blunck wrote:Nice picture, I really forgot about your interesting web site during the last year. W/r to that signal, I should include a modern variant too in the next release.
Is that really needed? I mean, such signals are (almost?) only used inside stations, i.e. on platforms. Other than this, there´s also the double buffer for use outside stations?Auge wrote: Please don't forget a tile without a (visible) platform. Indeed, you could just use normal two way signals as well.michael blunck wrote:Is that really needed? I mean, such signals are (almost?) only used inside stations, i.e. on platforms. Sorry, that it was misleading. I meant the void platform tile, a separating track tile for void platforms. A second wish: stairs on a non track platform tile.michael blunck wrote:Is that really needed? I mean, such signals are (almost?) only used inside stations, i.e. on platforms.
