Bob, i'll stop you before you go much further, you are making the same mistake as before and giving each of your versions a different file name, leading to endless lists of Bob's GRFs in peoples GRF lists, can you just stick to one filename, like britrains.grf, firs.grf, ECS.grf.

That way when u release an update it overwrites the earlier versions.

In TTD scale lots of buses from different manufacturers have very similar sprites and very similar stats. There's no point in including any of the Bristol double deckers, for example, as they look an perform pretty much the same as the AECs. Your are welcome in you own game to rename the AEC's as their Bristol equivalent

Having said that I'm not against including something that is distinctive, do you have a suggestion?

I might go for: a C type as the set needs an early single decker, of the B Type. The B Type looks like the Leyland Tiger but the twin doors will make it a little different as it will load quicker

don't really know much about Bristol but seeing as i live in the south west sometimes we will see them on the roads round here, certainly they did seem to be quite popular down here.

These seem to be lacking something. Possibly shading? Someone with vehicle drawing knowledge may be able to shed knowledge here. Don't get me wrong, it's a great set! :D

Hmmmm, could make a Bristol Lodekka, and maybe the difference with it, is that leaving the depot, the startup sound is "I 'ate you Butler", and leaving the bus stops, the sound could be "Get that bus out", both as spoken by Blakey from On The Buses!

There will be 2 or 3 coaches that were used by NE in the next release. The will be CC though. However setting CC to white should get you an approximate livery

0.2 is now up. There are a couple of vehicles to be added to the set but it anyone has any ideas I'd be interested to her them. I'm really interested in stuff that distinctly different in look or game play to what's already in the set

Cheers

Bob

Hi!
I really like these buses, but can you adjust the loading speeds? Especially for the local buses. It takes almost an ingame-month to fully unload and load wiht only 4 passengers per tick loading speed...

Which ones do you think are "local busses"?

Especially the Mercedes Bendy Bus (Citaro G otherwise), the Wrightbus NB4L, the UKB quad and maybe the UK autobuses and the Leyland Titan. I know the Mercedes Citaro is a low floor local bus, designed for fast loading, and AFAIK the Wrightbus is a low floor bus with large doors too, so I think it should be load faster.

That's odd - The stats say they should be fast loading

The Wright bus has a load amount of 4 as does the Bendy bus which are better than the other buses - are you suggesting I make it lower still?

The "load amount" is how many units the vehicle loads or unloads per tick. A lower number = slower loading.

Of course, bus loading times in TTD are not helped by the fact that at every stop, all the passengers get off, then all the passengers get on.
