Graphic Glitch with Crossing Tracks

Post by wbecher »

So, first of all, I must admit that I am a noob when talking about customizations in OpenTTD.

I have installed the following NewGRFs:
2023-02-16 17_34_58-OpenTTD 13.0.png
2023-02-16 17_34_58-OpenTTD 13.0.png (20.17 KiB) Viewed 1053 times
And I am experiencing this visual glitch at train junctions and crossings:
2023-02-16 17_35_48-OpenTTD 13.0.png
2023-02-16 17_35_48-OpenTTD 13.0.png (124.25 KiB) Viewed 1053 times
Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?

No Grid Land is a very old set that was based on old graphics, while the base OpenGFX graphic set has improved the graphics.

I would advise removing No Grid Land, and replacing it with OpenGFX+ Landscape, go into the parameters section and set "Show gridlines" to "Off".

That's a conflict with ABase or ZBase, that no grid landscape (as Kamnet said, is very very old) was made for the original TTD Graphics. If you have access to these original graphics they can be loaded as a base set in OpenTTD.

Either way, Kamnet's suggestion is the best outcome, if you want no grid, use the regular OpenTTD 8bpp base set and use OpenGFX Landscape.
