Yeah, there's a definite bug here with CHIPS 1.0.1, seen it multiple times.

Any posibility of bringing back the old full-width dock? (via parameter?) I prefer it because I like to blend the dock in seamlessly using object tiles, and the new dock leavers an ugly gap.

New CHIPS (1.0.2) on Bananas and http://bundles.openttdcoop.org/chips/releases/

Just one change: fix for bad sprites shown on many tiles (peter1138)

This fixes all known sprite issues for me, if any show, please report here, with CHIPS version number and details of any railtype grfs in use.

CHIPS 1.0.4 now on the fruit store, or at some point (bundle server is running slow) here: http://bundles.openttdcoop.org/chips/releases/

-- changes --
  • Fix for scrap metal sprites not showing
  • Grain Silo tile; shows cargo waiting for grain cargo (GRAI cargo label only). i.e. FIRS and other sets that use GRAI. Won't support some variations like CERE, MAIZ, WHEA. Code limitation right now, might be resolvable in future.

 this set has made my train stations look so much better! adding roofed stations would make passenger stations look better.

Is it savegame-compatible? Started a game with the previous version just a few hours ago...
Those buildings look nice, though.

Very pleased with the new buildings, and the smaller mine building looks good at a sawmill too. The Boy Scout camp I help out at, one of their dining halls is from the days when the property was owned by logging operations, and looks a bit like this building.

I do have a suggestion: Could the tiles that are bare ground, be made in two varieties: Showing cargo based on what is at the station, or be built to stay empty? Some places I don't want to show cargo, but would like to use the tiles anyway.

All tile types, or just the mud?

Only tried mud lately, and the passenger station style concrete slabs won't show passengers or mail anyway as far as I know.

Let me guess: Try the other platforms too?

I could put up a little NewObject set I made, which pretty much allowed for that.
I've refrained from doing so so far because so little of it (a few lines of NML) is my own work, while all the tricky spritey things are pulled straight out of CHIPS/FIRS... :P

andythenorth: Would you mind? :?

The sets are GPL to encourage modification and sharing. Go for it ;)
