Might have it on an old comp, will have to check.

I do believe that OpenGFX Landscape plus has a similar tunnel style to the CSRailset

hello, i'm looking for all and any grf's that will improve my game aesthetically with 32bpp graphics.

i got tired of seeing nice, smooth landscapes and buildings then have a pixelated bus or train pass by so i made a fresh install and trying to only incorporate 32bpp grf's

so far i only use zBase's graphics, opengfx Big GUI 2.0, 8/32bpp trains 2cc.

downloaded a bunch of other grf's that i will try 1 by 1 to see how they look before i decide if to keep them or not but to make a long post short; is there any way to get trams in 32bpp? i've seen some footage here on the forums but idk if it's work in progress or what, couldn't find anything on the ingame downloader in any case.

i got pretty used to hovering vehicles too but sadly they were also pixelated. Are there any new buildings in 32bpp? or ships? (more like the hover ship that is in the main game as all other ships are so sloooow)

Basically, i'm content with all vehicles default in the game as long as they look the same as the overall world, in 32bpp, i'm just looking to expand on that (with trams, double deckers, buildings, industries and any other eye candies)

ty in advance for any help :)

The only set that I know of that has trams in 32bpp is GRVTS v1.4 32bpp.

There are not many 32bpp sets. The standard only became integrated into OpenTTD a few years ago. It requires special software and higher-end computers to create the graphics. There are very few artists and coders who work with it. Work on them tends to be slow, updates erratic and most are not created or updated on any set schedule.

i just tested GRVTS v1.4 and it didn't seem to work. all trams were still pixelated :/

shame, i'd help if i had any idea of how that works as i have a high end pc. I see many projects with pics posted and they all seem to have some nice details but if they then end up looking pixelated in the game, doesn't that make it harder to appreciate them?

Have you downloaded this version ( GRVTS 32bpp download link is in the post):
viewtopic.php?p=1048814#p1048814

And have you checked out this wiki:
https://wiki.openttd.org/List_of_32bpp_NewGRFs

Furthermore do a search on "32bpp" in the graphics development section, it may get you some more variations regarding buildings and infrastructure as there are a couple of (probably) abandoned projects that did release a (test) GRF (you may need to plough through a lot of pages though to find them)

An interesting set for you, currently in development, is this one:
viewtopic.php?f=26&t=76558
I believe they are also going to do roadvehicles and maybe could use help, or just support by saying that you like the project ;-)

Finally, something that could never hurt is posting screenshots of your games in the screenshot section of the forum.
Not just to support 32bpp GRF developers by showing off their work (and therefor maybe stimulating them to continue with their projects), but also to show what is missing (like ships), that may inspire 32bppGRF-devs to make those...

Got a question. I apparently have a 100% working with current OpenTTD version of Canadian Stations set (v0.3d). I have no idea where I got it, (remainder of original post removed, see below for answer)

EDIT 2: Removed useless parts, requested deletion of unnecessary discussion.

Seeing as it's clearly already available here, I'll just edit the first post on the matter in each topic to reflect that fact and request that most of the related posts afterwards (including my own, excluding the answer by kamnet). Google didn't show a result for those locations but looking back at what I searched for I can see why (added some words that didn't need to be used in "quotes that mean this exact phrase").

shipyard = mb's Maritime Collection (MariCo) and SNO objects
stations = Canadian Stations (*)

trams = no idea, maybe the ones in NARS Roads

You can find all these Graphics via Online Download Content (in OTTD), or in http://grfcrawler.tt-forums.net/, except the sets marked with (*).
I also somehow knew more about how licenses affect editing files than about how they affect uploading them, which is why I did not know better and figured it just got removed forever at some point because of past issues. I honestly thought that licenses didn't affect posting them here, and that the removal of the file was due to bad blood at the time of the removal.

Licenses for my work...
You automatically have my permission to re-license graphics or code by me if needed for use in any project that is not GPL v2, on the condition that if you release any derivatives of my graphics they're automatically considered as ALSO GPL v2 (code may remain unreleased, but please do provide it) and carry this provision in GPL v2 uses.
Please ask someone in-the-know to be sure that the graphics are done by me. Especially TTD-Scale, long story.

As noted here, users are not permitted to redistribute the license for Canadian Trainset - the copyright holders reserve their rights that they only can distribute it.

No, you don't have permission to repost it because you did not obtain permission from OzTrans. He made it very clear when he left that he didn't want them to be distributed further. We respect copyright here, the moderators do crack down on it with zeal. And, besides, it's just good manners to show respect for others, even if they are no longer here.

There's already two places where you can obtain another copy legally. Here in the forums (and linked to on the NewGRF List wiki), and in the OpenTTDCoop GRFPack.

That is just a rating based upon the number of posts.
EDIT: As you are only a registered user, I'll either need a good reason for your word to be valid either way or for an actual administrator/moderator to comment.
I am neither, however I worked closely with OzTrans on his projects.
All his work is covered under copyright.
There is no formal license.
If anyone has copies, they are free to use them in their games provided the copies were obtained from a location posted by OzTrans.
There is no license to redistribute.
There is no license to modify.
Many of the graphics used in his work were provided by other artists.
If one can cite the location that those artists posted to, independent of OzTrans, then their work may be used according to the license set out by those artists.
OzTrans did acknowledge those artists in his work, but he did not specify which pieces the artists contributed.

I hope this helps. If you have any other questions I will answer them as best I can.

The graphics for it exists. It was part of the original attempt to replace the Transport Tycoon Deluxe graphics with one that could be freely distributed.

You can read about its development here: viewtopic.php?p=382596#p382596

As far as I know, though, it's not coded into a NewGRF for usage in-game.

So are there any seperate GRFs?
Going a while back here but that's what happens when I'm not on the forum for a long time. Anyway...

The docks and locks from OpenGFX are available as a separate GRF here (the file named redstardocks). There's also FIRS Docks, Andrex's Docks with Containers and Cranes and Kamnet's own (recode) of Rob's Dock with Container Crane.

I can't find another buoy anywhere in my files, but I have several different tram and bus stops if you're interested.

I'm pretty sure it was never coded because it far exceeded the bounding box of the original oil rig and it was meant to be a direct replacement. Red*Star rejigged it to make the current version in OpenGFX.
